“واليوم، مع بروز الذكاء الاصطناعي أداة فعالة في الكتابة، أصبح من الضروري إعادة النظر في تعريف كل من «الأدب» و»التأليف».
يمكننا اليوم أن نعرّف الأدب، بمفهومه المعاصر، بأنه «كتابة نثرية أو شعرية تُجسّد أفكار المؤلف ومشاعره وتجاربه ورسائله، مصاغة بأسلوب يختاره». أما المؤلف فهو «العقل المدبّر للعملية الفكرية أو الإبداعية والموجّه لها» بغض النظر عن الأسلوب. وسواء استعان المؤلف ببشري أو بالذكاء الاصطناعي، فإن هذا لا يغيّر من جوهر التأليف شيئا. فالمؤلف هو منتج الأفكار، وليس المحرر أو المترجم أو الصديق أو أي أداة تُسهم في التعبير عنها. فالذكاء الاصطناعي لا يفكر تفكيرا مستقلا، ولا يمتلك خيالا ولا مشاعر، ولا تجارب شخصية أو قصصا عاطفية؛ إنه مجرد أداة يوجّهها المؤلف ـ مثلما يوجّه قلمه عند الكتابة ـ للتعبير عن أفكاره ومشاعره وتجاربه وخدمة صوته الإبداعي. فقد آن الأوان للاعتراف بالذكاء الاصطناعي وسيطا مشروعا ضمن العملية الإبداعية للمؤلف.”
