Back on my Austen rereads for the 250th anniversary of Jane’s birth. Thoughts so far are that I really do think Emma is funnier (I enjoy the clever little sentences in that book much more), but Pride and Prejudice is truly a LOVE story in the way that only Persuasion also manages to be. Mr Darcy already has me swooning.
