“Love may, indeed, love the beloved when her beauty is lost: but not because it is lost. Love may forgive all infirmities and love still in spite of them: but Love cannot cease to will their removal. Love is more sensitive than hatred itself to every blemish in the beloved… Of all powers he forgives most, but he condones least: he is pleased with little, but demands all.”

“A man can no more diminish God's glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word 'darkness' on the walls of his cell.”

“every mouth you’ve ever kissed
was just practice
all the bodies you’ve ever undressed
and ploughed in to
were preparing you for me.
i don’t mind tasting them in the
memory of your mouth
they were a long hall way
a door half open
a single suit case still on the conveyor belt
was it a long journey?
did it take you long to find me?
you’re here now,
welcome home.”

“Incarceration
There is but one form of incarceration that I could ever enjoy. Incarceration is one of the most confining things that can be done to a person, but there is one type of incarceration that I can enjoy. If by chance in this life time, I should be incarcerated by love. I would gladly surrender to the capture and lock up within a love that transcends all knowledge of time and circumstance as we know it. To be incarcerated by a love that you never want to be without makes incarceration invigorating to the soul, because soul is more affected by an incarcerated love than anything you and I can ever imagine. I can’t imagine why anyone wouldn’t want to be incarcerated by Love.”
