“Most of all, love each other as if your life depended on it. Love makes up for practically anything. 1 Peter 4:8, THE MESSAGE”
― Darlene Zschech, Revealing Jesus: A 365-Day Devotional

“Do you feel like you are going under? In that moment, look up, don’t lose heart, and hold fast to your faith. Your God will rescue you. Apply Psalm 18 to your life. It’s one of my all-time favorites. God himself hears every cry and will always be there to walk you through any storm.”
― Darlene Zschech, Revealing Jesus: A 365-Day Devotional

“He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me. Psalm 18:16–17, NIV”
― Darlene Zschech, Revealing Jesus: A 365-Day Devotional

“Because of the fall of Adam and Eve and the natural sinfulness of the human heart that was passed onto all of us, there are those who will oppose God with all their strength. Paul was one of them. It was on his way to persecute believers in Jesus Christ that Jesus knocked him off his horse, blinded him, and spoke directly to him: “Saul! Saul! Why are you persecuting me?” (Acts 9:4). Never, never, never give up on the person in your life who seems most opposed to the gospel.”
