I did not read Manacled so maybe that’s why this wasn’t doing anything for me. It’s very dark and didn’t really go anywhere in the 250+ pages I read. If it was 500 pages, I would have powered through but for a book that’s 1k+ pages, I just couldn’t make myself stick with it.
