It sounds true but it isn't. China seems to be very cheerful and united in it's Belt & Road takeoverof every nation that America has ignored. No religion there.

While China state-promotes atheism, there is, sadly, religion there as well among the populace. Which likely makes them even more fanatic than elsewhere in the world.

The Uighyers may be getting it but the Hui, also Muslims but none are radicalised in any way, are not. The Communist party is atheist but they are not promoting atheism in China or anywhere else as far as I can see. They were but now about 80% of the country practice various folk religions and don't have an issue.
