Fantastic history, art book, clippings, of a historic artist in visual communications, instructions, a veteran who developed training materials that taught across language barriers for the Allies. This man is a legend and there is very good reason a very major award is named for him. This is a well written, incredibly honest, and deeply researched retrospective and biography.

starting my fourth read. I was given this at Pearl Harbor and the Pacific War has always interested me. This, along with the fantastic Pulitzer Prize winning American Civil War history in one volume, "Battle Cry Freedom," is worth a read.
