Entertaining but kinda hated the ending.

Feels kinda like a ya that got bumped up to adult because a man wrote it. It’s fine so far? Sitting at a 3.5-4. I could love it and it’s still super early on in the story.

Not to be over dramatic but this was so incredibly boring to the point where I am so confused why this is even classified as a horror and not just literary fiction. Zero tension. Zero thrills. Zero body count in the present timeline. Just an entire snooze fest with a horrible vague explanation.
