When I give this book 4 stars know it’s only for Nico and Gideon. ok and Reina.

It’s just character assassination after character assassination after character assassination. I can’t believe this was published??? Like the publisher said yep let’s do it!?

Fuck this book and fuck olivie Blake. Not even sad about what happened just mad.

I feel like so much of this could have been edited down. So many sentences are just word salad.

Nico kisses one boy and he has an entire personality shift. Kingyy was so repressed. Hoping Libby gets killed hehe

Reread: this is SO MUCH better the second time around??? Like wowowowowowowowowow

I’m still really loving this!!!!!

Yes. It really was so good I had to read it again in the same month.

So far I love this so much and don’t understand the bad reviews yet???? Maybe this is a diamond to me????

I understand the themes, messaging, and critique this is doing but I really feel like I just realllllly don’t care about stories revolving around food. I know the importance and so much of this I loved. This is a book for people who love the intricacies of food and the relationship between culture and food and colonization and food.

So I hate math so much and this book was so much about math and it’s not for me so I’m not giving it a rating.

I don’t know how I’m supposed to ever read a book again

“My dream was dead in my arms” oh my god 😭😭😭

I’m so emotionally devastated I can’t breathe

Everything I love about books. Makes me so happy I know how to read.

Second half of the book is no where near as good as the first half and I fully understand why there are abridged versions of this. This needed an editor so bad.

Girl… it’s a book

Marius please get to the POINT!!!!!

The plot is engaging but every character lacks just as much depth as the commentary. War, colonization, colorism, and revenge are bad yes I know. I feel like kuang lacks the ability to go as deep into the topics as I would desire. Feels v elementary to me.

Love love love everything but the pop culture references from the time period.

Bitch I love it so much it’s so fun and it’s so cute and camp

Idk what I’m going to do after this series ends.

My bingtown people oh my gawdddddd

4.5 rounded up

Mc kinda rude.

Slice of life fantasy ughhh I love

Absolutely unwell not ok what the fuck about to call out of work

This could have been edited into like 200 pages but if it were I think it would lose so much beauty and charm.

: )

Beloved 😭
