N Nightingale is 45% done with A Broken Blade (The Halfling Saga, #1)
I’m hooked. Don’t know how this is possible but the writing gets better as you get into it? I love the vivid worldbuilding so far. Not so sure how I feel about The Shadow’s character generally but the Blade is pretty cool.

N Nightingale is 30% done with A Memory Called Empire (Teixcalaan, #1)
I want to like this but it is a slog. Mostly I just need to know what happens, which is what is keeping me hooked, and because Yksandr is just an interesting character. So maybe I’ll finish it? Because I need to know what happens to him. But I just realized I’m only 30% through the book when I thought I was almost 75 or 80. Might DNF this.

This might be a DNF for me. I’m not invested in any of the MMCs and I deffo am eh about the villain. This is advertised as like ACOTAR and jt really is not like ACOTAR at all
