Part 1 was emotionally taxing

I really enjoyed part 1. It was fast it was punchy. I enjoyed the characters and I saw the beginning of their arcs. I enjoyed the magic system. I cannot wait to start part two

Ok! Lots is happening very early in. I am enjoying how fast the pacing is. Kip is a kid so I'm struggling with his personality. The magic is very interesting but confusing right now. I'm on chapter 11 and sooo many people have died.

I am still enjoying it still but the pacing is slow. There is no urgency is the story yet. But the storytelling is beautiful

This is excellent. I was nervous because of the low reviews but the writing is beautiful. Really what ram is doing with structure and perspective is right up my alley! Also themes are great. I do think a lot is happening so I can see some drawbacks but I'm very invested

At this point I'm just waiting on the big thing at the end. I feel like this story is too

I'm so bored but I'm almost done. Even the fencing battle was not exciting.

I'm in part 2. I'm intrigued, confused and excited lol.
