Only reading this because I heard it's being made into a movie and I'm the kind of person who has to read the book first. I love romcom movies and have only read a few romcom books. I'm more into dark romantasy.

9 chapters and he's already madly in love with her? Wow, this is a pretty fast paced book. The met in chapter 6 and at the end of chapter 15, Roman admits he's madly in love with Olivia? I mean, I like the romance but usually I prefer a much slower burn. Who knows, maybe there'll be obstacles they must overcome in order to truly be together.

The fourth option is to read the Cassandra Clare books in chronological order, based on the events in each book.

Next year (2026) I will do another re-read but this time I will either do option 3 (publication order) or option 1 (the author's suggested order)

And I thought I loved the enemies to lovers trope. But, I gotta say, the lovers to enemies trope is also pretty hot lol. Not to mention devastating. I'm loving this book. Can't wait to read the prequel about Marlena.
