I am taking a break from this pretentious thing for awhile and I'm hoping my professor will only make us read select essays, rather than the whole thing. It's only 150 pages but feels like 1,000. I understand every word and I still have no idea what the author is trying to say.

Another grad class read. But one whose cover I'll. have to hide should I ever try to read at school or in many public places.

Have to stop for awhile-- my books for next term's grad class have arrived and I want to get a head start so I don't get overwhelmed. I'm worried it will be hard to start back up with this. I wouldn't say I'm disinterested, it's just not something I'm cranking through.
