I’m very much enjoying this book so far! It makes me feel like I’m a complete idiot but I’m fine with that because the journey is so enjoyable.

This book is very funny so far. It’s ridiculous, as most romantic comedies are. But it’s had multiple moments where I’ve at the very least chuckled, if not full on laughed out loud.

The characters are relatable but I think it’s honestly the side characters that are giving the story so much life right now. Both Alex & Henry are interesting, but their surroundings seem to be more so at this point in the book.

So far this book is incredibly informative. Starting as far back as 15,000 BCE and going up to around the 1400’s, I’ve already learned that native communities were FAR larger and more diverse than we were ever lead to believe.

So far not so bad! I feel ignorant because I don’t know or recognize all of the names or places but I’m still quite early on and I hope I learn more as I read. The story is okay so far, but like I said, still early on.
