GOD i fucking love the way that brite writes, he’s got such an interesting style that i can’t help but want to try and replicate myself. this book is begging to have a movie adaptation, please let me write the screenplay for it.

tjr is just so good at writing characters that are painfully human. there's so much to love about daisy and each of the six, but there's also so much that i hate. they're flawed in ways that force you to feel sympathetic.
