Blatant anti-Semitism in here.
The author has a talent for expressing people’s rambling thoughts. Seems like every character in this book only wants to hear themselves speak.

You laugh, but feel the jabs. These characters are not so different from us. Cohen must have intended the reader to analyze their own behaviors. He picks them apart so carefully.

I found it slow at first, but then about a 1/4 through, it just spins out of control and never slows down.
So many shocking, sad events. Ultimately, I hope she keeps her current status with her family. It seems healthy for her.

Not really feeling this one. The introduction grabbed me by discussing how the prevalence of homicidal violence in women is ignored and female serial killers are easily forgotten (especially if you're a "sweet" little old lady who just happens to poison everyone you meet). As I read though, it becomes less interesting and very repetitive, each section seeming a couple pages too long. I might come back to it later.
