Many great points about friendship. Some of mine ended over unmet needs: My former best friend gave me thoughtful gifts while I didn’t do the same. I resented her for not being there during tough times. I later realized she was struggling too. Another bestie simply liked everything I posted on FB for 15 years. I felt lonely in their presence and was confused as to why I was not invited to their wedding/reception.
