Quick little Babel update

enjoying this book so far, but I can feel something awful creeping in and the suspense is killing me in the best way.
Also, Robin reminds me a bit of Yanagihara's Jude, maybe it's just the weight of his self loathing, but there's a familiar ache there and what is it with dark academia and violent men named Richard???? Is it a genre requirement at this point, I don’t know.
