I'm trying to finish up my ebooks to then catch up on my physical-book TBR pile.

Hmm. I think if I was more of a gardener, I'd be more thrilled with this. As it was, it was fun to skip ahead to look at pictures and poems. Maybe I'll enjoy this more over time. I dunno.

So I originally stopped reading this because I had such a fierce/angry envy-desire to read trans masc poetry, that I didn't feel I could give the book the attentiveness it deserved. Now that Benaway's indigeneity has been called into question by various Indigenous communities, I am glad to have left it on pause.
