I got to the part where one asks their partner to join them in leveling the playing field, realized I have too much going on right now to take this on and then my ebook loan expired. I plan to revisit the book in 4-6 months.

Gave up for the time being . Too much else going on.

Loved the suspense. I was unsuspecting until the reveal started. Similar to Gone Girl.

I was looking for a book like Maisie Dobbs or the chick during WW1-WW2. However this one is not quite the same. Each chapter is like a short story with very little plot or character development. I’m disappointed thus far.

I gave up. The tone was that of a teenager and I just couldn’t stomach it.

I like the unusual perspective on WWI this book provides... even though I didn’t finish it the first go ‘round.

I'm not enjoying her prose and have stopped reading.

The cover of this book was a turn off. I almost didn't crack open the e-copy I go from the library And then I finished my book about raising a toddler so I started. And loved it. The story isn't overly sentimental, but the plot and human elements are engaging. And it's a good length for a book one didn't want to start in the first place because I didn't start to resent it for its length after resenting its cover.

Very 21st century parenting technique. But The sections about shaming and sharing stood out to me.

There were some interesting looking projects but I ran out of time and would want the hard copy for patterns and such.
