being a beauty and the beast retelling is kind of holding this book back tbh. also its exposition city

who ever did the audio balancing for this audiobook needs to be fired the narrator jumps from soft whispering that I can't understand so i turn the volume all the way up straight into whatever jumbled horrible mess the hive speaks with. this is a very unpleasant reading experience
