I'm struggling with this book. I feel like I have to have Google open all the time to understand what is happening or better understand Peggy and her family. Going on the DNF List.

I slogged through some of the repetitive narrative that made me lose interest to the tear-inducing ending that made me glad I finished. I was in college from 1969-1973 and this book brought back a lot of memories: the protests, Kent State, the music, the clothes, and, sadly, the apathy of some and the disdain of others.

I couldn't put it down! Enjoyed the clever way the author divulged Victoria's story in alternating chapters while seamlessly tying them together.
