B.C. Deeks is starting The Core (The Demon Cycle, #5)
As I start the final book, I’m thinking, with some meticulous editing this STORY could have it could have had universal appeal. The story of two contradictory strategies for humanity’s fight against demons was inspired but it’s readership was limited by the unnecessarily graphic violence. What a shame because. Well, I’m off to The Core (Book 5). Wish me luck!

Kit has such a fun flippant voice as he narrates te story. I’m really enjoying reading it.

B.C. Deeks is on page 208 of 592 of Fallout
This story is a departure for Sara Paretsky but she is definitely on top of her suspense writing game! VI Warshawski has left her big city comfort zone of Chicago for the small city of Lawrence, Kansas in search of a missing Hollywood actress and the young videographer hired to capture her origin story. The secrets buried in her past so far are riveting and I can’t put this book down!

This is the type of book you read like a workbook- slowly, implementing appropriate sections as you go.

B.C. Deeks is reading Tiger's Eye (A Stacy Justice Mystery, #4)
I just finished Tiger's Eye (A Stacy Justice Mystery Book 3) and really enjoyed it. This is a great series if you like strong mystery plots meshed with light paranormal. Throw in an eccentric family and you've got a great read.
