I'm only two percent in, which is like two chapters, but I'm having a great time. I wasn't sure I'll enjoy it, that it'll be relatable to me (yk - religious text, male centered, old, American). I don't necessarily look for texts that I find relatable, but in such a beast of a book I want emotional attachment.

And yet. Despite me and Ishmael having nothing in common on paper, I find him incredibly relatable.

I thought it was already bad, but apparently women are not only things, they also belong in the kitchen and being kidnapped happens because she is a stupid girl. It's also rapey. Can't believe he's an iconic character. Nothing in this book makes sense (why does he have one name? He does use a fake identity but the same name?) and the hero does not have one redeeming quality. Stupid ass bitch.

I just love when women write about women as females and about how they cannot function when there's a hot man around. Like. There are almost no women working in F1 because the men are too hot?? Seriously???

13% in, and they are both insufferable. First of all, that's the gayest setup I ever saw. Nut more importantly - you met today. Why are you sharing your daddy issues? And why does she act like a boy mum towards her older brother??? (Those females should get in line because I am his number one fan or whatever. With the word females used).

I read. 3 books just to reach this one, and I fucking hate it. I hate connor, and I hate the misogynistic undertones. This shit fucking sucks.

I love them. I also love Brooks. However, I fucking hate the alpha male shit.

It's so bad. The only good parts are the girls from the other books, and the egg.

I fucking hate Ryke. The Ryke × Daisy plotline is super weird, and I hate how it's excused. Fucking weirdo. I also hate how Melissa is villanised for finding it weird???

I like connor and rose. The things I do to read their book.
