Even though sapiens evolved and can survive better, what with astute knowledge, creative living solutions and better medical infrastructure, we for one(unless it’s their job) have forgotten much about the world around us. The trees that grow around our settlements, the fauna, how rivers bring nourishment to flora from far away, and how the birds soar with freshly caught fish on their beaks.

Umm.. why am I reading this?

The author is very eloquent in the way that she captures emotions.
And even though we see a Korean girl's experience - the everyday sexism and mistreatment, it is essentially the story of every girl anywhere in the world.
