I’m only 4% in and I’m already scared for the four students. I read book 3 in the series first and am now starting from this, book 1. Val McDermid is one of the best crime writers ever.

There’s at least one book missing from my 2024 stats. It has read dates. I can’t find any way to force the stats to update. Very annoying.
