I started this with expectations so low that I'm amazed that I actually like it so far.

I have no nails left from biting them so much

I've been reading for two days now, this book has 1443 pages and do you know how long it's been in the book so far? A day. It feels like this Wedding/Gathering day has 96 hours instead of 24. Kind of losing it here

Usually, when I start a Fever re-read (this would be my 10th or 11th, I've lost count), I'd be doing so eagerly and so ready to get to experience the whole story again. Yet now, after the bitter taste of the additional books, I'm scared and not in a hurry to get past Shadowfever. And since I last re-read the series 4 years ago, I guess I'll just suck it up and try to see it differently this time.

Barely 2% in and I'm already cracking up!

I'm bored out of my mind. No wonder I'm 6 books behind for my reading goal.

Shit's about to get very serious. I just feel it.

One thing I learned quickly is that Naz is a giver, never hesitating to lavish me with the best of everything. Shoes. Clothes. Flowers. Orgasms. Such a nice change from the utter crap I've been reading lately! I actually forgot what a good book looks like!

44% through of book #9 and the story hasn't moved forward one tiny bit. What the hell happened to this series?!

I'm starting to lose my patience with Charley. And as if that wasn't enough, she has freaking amnesia now too. Gah!

I think I've figured it out. It just all of a sudden struck me. The whole blurb isn't what it seems to be. And if I'm right... Fucking hell, this is going to be awesome!

Are books supposed to create this gap in your chest, threatening to swallow you whole? Are they supposed to make your soul ache? Because this one does and it'll be the death of me.

I refuse to read what's about to happen. I don't want to watch the train wreck. I don't. But I can't not to. Damn Paul Hudson.
