Couldn’t get into it reading, but as an audiobook - excellent. Tamlin may be a hot fairy king, but he’s a shitty partner. Feyre deserves better. I hope she gets it in the night court

I wonder if the author was inspired by the final story in Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi - Sommy and Bryan's story remind me of Marcus and Marjorie in their compelling pull to each other and bringing together lose ends.

Anyways, enjoying it - the writing, characters, the themes it explores.

Mmm very surprising. What started off highly recommended but really uninteresting - oh, another self indulgent book about a writer at their lowest writing their comeback book… how riveting 🙄 - has quickly turned into something disquieting and deeper.

If it’s the gym teacher, I’ll throw this book and never read Shari Lapena again.
