I’m stretching the experience of this book out to mimic the structure of the writing. It’s seasonal, so I’m allowing myself to read the rest season by season.

I tried it, but it failed to capture me. I think I’ll pick it up again at some point.

I really wanted to like this, but goddamn, the protagonist was pedantic in a way that was too grating for me to waste my time reading. Oh well.
