I found a jackpot of old Doctor Who Target books at a Charity Shop yesterday, so expect that to be my reading content for the next while 😂

Slowly but surely getting through this one. I went through a major reading funk in October but I'm hoping that I'm finding my way out of the hole.

Giving this a re-read because some of my mutuals really recommend it. Since it's been so long since I read it, it's possible I misunderstood it. I guess we shall see!

This book isn't what I thought it was going to be. It's not that I'm not enjoying it, but I'm finding it slow going. I'm craving some fiction right now, so I'm going to put it down for a while and return to it later.

I'm not sure what I feel about this one either to be honest. I thought I'd know what to rate it once I reached the end but I'm sure rather torn. I'll need to think on it further.

I'm not sure what I'm feeling at the moment. I'll write a proper review when I get my thoughts together.

This book has me totally sucked in. I'm a lost media fan who loved the Candle Cove creepypasta so this is the perfect meeting of tropes for me. I'm so glad I decided to pick it up.

I've got a complicated relationship with meta in storytelling and I'm not sure how I feel about most of (all?) of The Final Girl's stories evidently being based on already exiting horror movies. Halloween, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Scream...I don't know if I like or hate this decision. I'm immensely enjoying the book otherwise though, I've devoured half already!

I'm not sure how I feel about the way this book has been written just yet. It's different, that's for sure, but I can't decide whether I like it or not.

I got this in a blind date with a book package my best friend bought me and while I'm not usually much of a rom-com reader (or viewer in terms of movies too) I'm feeling spookily connected to the character Stevie. Like she is me. I am her. How did Ashley Herring Blake do this? How did the person putting together the blind date with a book package know this??? The cosmic tomfoolery is wild tonight! 📖

Long story. This was an early joke Christmas present from a friend. Gotta read or else it'll be rude! Not so bad so far to be fair. Getting into the graphic stuff though which is....interesting. I guess we'll see where it goes from here.

I've one hundred or so pages left and I'm really struggling ngl. Someone send help.

Ngl this book is boring the hell out of me. Who in the name of good God doesn't use speech marks?

This book is testing me. It needed to end 250 pages ago.
