Katrina Terpstra is on page 205 of 229 of Faith for Exiles: 5 Ways for a New Generation to Follow Jesus in Digital Babylon
This chapter discussed their final way to follow God in Digital Babylon. It talked about engaging in countercultural missions around you in order to glorify God. I loved the chapter because it had some deep questions and ideas that made you think about how you are living and what you can do to change.

This chapter went into the importance of vocational discipleship for this generation. We are very ambitious and want to skip “climbing the ladder.” I definitely agree with what the authors are saying and it is intel testing to see their take on what we should do.

This chapter talked about becoming a resilient disciple in an age of isolation (even though we have technology). It gave some good outlines of goals for what a good relationship looks like with the church and those in it. Forming meaningful relationships is very important and rare these days.

This chapter was about cultivating cultural discernment in a society riddled with anxiety and sin. I thought it gave really good examples of discernment from real exiles from the Bible and ways that resilient disciples today cultivate it. The book is written very well and the reader is really able to understand and relate to what is being presented.

This chapter was on how to cultivate a resilient identity in Jesus. There were many interesting I infographics from their research and good steps to take for Christians to grow in this identity focused on Jesus and not “me.” I love the way the book is written so that it is very applicable to your life.

This first chapter was an introduction to the research used to create the book. I found the data and graphs in the book very interesting, and I had fun comparing myself to the questions they would have asked the "test group" of people. I am excited to see the applications I can take from the book and put into practice.

This book is very dense and this portion was talking about "Special and General Relativity." Understanding these concepts will help with the evidence presented throughout the book. Some portions of the section I read were very complicated and I had to re-read those passages to grasp the idea in my head, but I liked the challenge. It is very interesting to see how the way things work points to a creator.

So far this book has provided information and evidence to show that the scientific and biblical visions of the beginning of the world and the beginning of life can be used together. I am enjoying the book so far because of the amount of evidence Schroeder provides and that he is using non-biased accounts. The use of scientific elements and scriptural evidence is perfect.

The last few chapters I have been reading are about the Antichrist and who he is. I really love how vivid the author is with his wording and how much evidence he is able to provide without his opinion. He used scripture to reveal the information God has given about the end times and is able to connect many of them to thing present.

I have finished reading through the 25 signs and just read the summaries about them. At the beginning of this section it told the readers to think about the possibility of all of these things being a big coincidence. Reading through I realized how specific all the signs are and that the chance of all this being random is not a possibility. The book says we are near the end, and I agree after reading all the evidence.

I was reading about some new signs that explained partly what the world would be characterized by in the "last days." It said the world would be full of violence, famine, disease, poverty, and more. I really hope that the time of the end will come soon, but I am worried about all of the horrible things that are supposed to happen according to the Bible. I wonder if the rapture will happen before these times?

I have just read sign number 8 which touches on the reconstruction of the Third Temple and the actions of the final Antichrist. So many of the signs that have mentioned have already come true, setting the stage for others to follow. I think the time of the end is truly nearing and the time of the Antichrist, though I have no idea how soon, seems to be getting ready.

I finished reading through sign #2 where it talks about the nations that will exist during the end times and which ones will not. Any nation that opposes Israel and the Jews will be punished by God. I wonder where the US stands with Israel? Are we on the right side of the fight, and if not, what will happen?

Mr. Collins has made an offer of marriage to Elizabeth, but she has refused his hand. It is very comical how Mr. Collins thinks she is joking in saying no. I also see that she is still very interested in Mr. Wickham. Her prejudices against Darcy seem to continue as well.

Today I read about a party being held by Mr. BIngly where Jane and he seemed to enjoy each others company very much. Also, Elizabeth continues to notice Mr. Darcy's attention to her. I continue to see the prejudice Elizabeth has against Mr. Darcy and I wonder how her feelings will continue after she learned of the dealings between Mr. Darcy and Mr. Wickham from different people.

Today I read about the interactions between Elizabeth and Mr. Collins, Mr. Wickham, and Mr. Darcy. She has been talking with Mr. Wickham and about the sour meeting of the two in town and has been told that Darcy and he are not on friendly terms. Elizabeth is now trying to figure out how to deal with this information and maybe letting prejudice blind her. I am interested to see how it affects her views and actions.

Jane and Elizabeth finally returned to Longbourn where the family was soon after joined by Mr. Collins (Mr. Bennet’s cousin). Also, when in town they meet Mr. Wickham, and run into Mr. Darcy and Bingley. Mr. Darcy and Mr. Wickham, upon seeing each other, seem worried, so I wonder what history they may have?

Jane and Elizabeth Bennet are still residing in Netherfield Park as Jane is still recovering from a sickness. Since Jane is confined to her room she is often in the company of the household residents. She noticed, in chapter 10, that Mr. Darcy has been looking at her a great deal and wonders why? I love how the story provides insight into the thoughts of all the characters to really show the effects of prejudice.

Today I read about how Jane Bennet was invited to go to Mr. Bingly's house by Miss Bingley and her sister, Mrs. Hurst, for dinner. Jane caught a cold on her trip over and was insisted upon to stay at the Netherfield Park. Elizabeth later goes to visit her sister, and the author starts to talk more of the feelings Mr. Darcy has towards Miss Elizabeth Bennet, but at present Elizabeth is opposed to Mr. Darcy.

We are introduced to the Bennet family who have just met Mr. Bingly and his party. They are very pleased with Mr. Bingly's but not with Mr. Darcy's characters. I love how this book is written and the wording used by the author.
