God, this is depressing. Women really were (and are?) only seen as having value as far as what they could do for men. And don’t you dare be black and want a “respectable” job.

Seriously, how hard is it for the director, or the narrator, or SOMEONE to double check pronunciation???? I get it, there are some weird words and unusual pronunciations (like how LDS fold pronounce Zion). But Lordy it’s annoying to so many things pronounced wrong.

Ummm….three dollars for two whiskeys? I thought this was the old west, not recent times. Hopefully this isn’t an omen for the quality of the book.

The hilarious pronunciations continue....Betazoid (beta-zoid, sounds just like it’s spelled) became buh-tazed. 🤦🏼‍♀️

This is so good so far, but good lord, learn how to pronounce the names correctly! The narrator for George Takei keeps on pronouncing his name wrong. Drives me nuts every time.

I just started this and I already am appalled at the fast and loose ethics of the protagonist's group therapist. This man should not be doing group therapy. Or therapy. He might owe me a new phone by the end of this book, I've already wanted to throw my phone accross the room about three times while listening.

Giving this another chance. I was much younger and not very mature when I first read it. I’m curious if my opinion of it will change now that I’m older.

Good lord. Authors: when in doubt, DON'T read the audiobook yourself. Yikes.

Seriously, does no one know this kid is out tromping around all day? My parents would have skinned me alive if I up and left the house.
