Allison Chadwick is starting Demon Copperhead

Rounded up from a 4.5. Fantastic writing and amazing perspective. Some woman saw me reading this book and said, “the beginning was so sad,” leading me to believe that eventually it wouldn’t be so sad. That turned out not to be the case. Kind of the opposite of a feel-good book, but really good nonetheless.
