How poetic to end on page 100 today

So far not my type of book but sometimes it’s nice to read something outside of your normal reads to expand what you might like. It is interesting at least

Not sure yet … I have had alcohol and was falling asleep toward the end of this page but I don’t think that’s the books fault 😅

🤦🏻‍♀️ so so many plot holes. Like why would people believe that you took a second job on top of your COP job to pay for your sisters wedding? Both her parents and the grooms parents are alive!! You are her sister why would you pay for the wedding?!

Interesting start … so far the writing is okay so that’s not driving me up the walls. I do feel like I’m missing a piece of the story as if this is not book one and I should have read a previous one but it says 1 on the book so hopefully I get filled in on some of what I am missing.

So already you’ve kidnapped someone’s cat took it to a new location and then just let it out at someone else’s house?! 🤦🏻‍♀️ mame I think you needed someone to read this over half the stuff is coming out jerky and without making sense to real life process.

Riddles riddles everywhere

Using “trees” as a curse or exclamation is hurting my head. I get the premise nature is powerful people are named after trees but they are in fact just trees still. Not magical, not godly … trees.

Anyways regardless I’m hook line and sinker on this book. it’s been a long time since i have given up sleep to try and read as much as possible.

These people are named after trees!! Why are they so hard to pronounce! I need more Elms

This book is so good and yet I have so little time to devote to it. I understand Bree and her cultural perspective and rage more and more as the book goes on and she’s certainly right in all the rage she is feeling. Not to mention the magic systems (plural) at work in this book as super intriguing. Goodluck Bree 🙏🏻

Ugh girl I hate this. You’ve done a bunch of nonsensical point of view hopping and NOW we are back tracking to some version of back story? I hate writing beginnings too but it must be done

A costume party with a tease. Well at least things are moving in a more positive direction

How is it that there are like 20 different perspectives, 4-5 different couples and ALL OF THEM are emotionally stunted and angsty. You could have at least given us 1 or 2 that got together in all this emotional turmoil but no … everyone has to have an issue.

Okay my girl! Let’s wrap this up in this book idk if I can take another book of this emotional angst! My nerves also need my favourite little frog to turn out okay.

Back on the loves me loves me not train. Let’s hope they squash this by the end of the book 😂
