Cute little book so far
The intro was taken straight out of Words of Radiance so I still haven’t read much new stuff about Lift yet
She’s a cool character though and I hope she gets to meet Kaladin and Shallan later on

In chapters 33 and 34 we have taken a step away from Dantes and followed Franz while on his trip to Rome
It has been the most excruciatingly boring 2 and a half chapters (which were hour long chapters EACH) and it’s turning me off from reading the whole book
I want to go back to Dantes.

This book reads very much like a play, with a narrator of sorts literally setting up scenes and giving us a peek into the minds of the characters as well as their places “on stage”
The intro was a bit hard to understand because of all the boat terminology but after chapter 1 it became much easier to understand and really grabbed my attention

I’ve entered part 3 and I see how everything is coming together slowly
I’m so excited to see Shallan again, I’ve missed her perspective
I also can’t help but feel bad for Szeth and i can’t wait to learn how one becomes truthless and what it means

Kaladin is really growing on me, his character is becoming much more relatable to me and the little moments where he wins against his despair really make me smile. Dalinar is also a nice perspective, and seeing him slowly become more radicalized against the war is very interesting

These books are very nostalgic to me and I am enjoying the reread, but one thing I find annoying so far is that it seems like JK Rowling didn’t expect people to read the first book, because it constantly reminds you of things that happened. It’s not too bad though
