I've barely started the book and it's already ripped my heart out...

Maybe I'm just over the Kroydon Hills universe because I've had this book in my KU library since its release a few months ago and it's taken me 3 or 4 days to get 25% through it with a bunch of skimming instead of reading...

Ashlyn is painfully naïve and willfully ignorant about her boyfriend. I need her to grow a backbone soon...

At least Asha is smart enough to know she can't trust Adriel...

I've only finished chapter 4 and I'd already like Asha's brother Elan to lose to a dragon, he's terrible 🤬

I absolutely adored House in the previous two books and now, as Hestia and getting her backstory, I love her even more 💜

Wow, I think Hestia's husband may be the worst of the exes in this series 😒

The FMC is cruel to the MMC, and I would have been okay with her demise in the siege on her castle 🤷🏻‍♀️

Maeve has returned to her petulant child ways of the start of book 1. All growth has been erased. 😒 As interested as I am in the resolution of the Faeven saga, I can't deal with a whiny toddler of a 24yo right now...

I can't tell if I'm enjoying this or not. It's a confusing mix of slow paced and fast paced. I feel like nothing is happening and everything is happening. Plus, Grace is painfully naïve at times...

I cannot take anything in this book seriously so far, sooo I guess it's going to succeed in amusing me and making me laugh, even if that's not the intent...

I'm probably going to regret not DNFing this one...

The first chapter isn't making me root for the FMC...but I was super interested in the premise, so I'm going to keep going to see if it gets better.

Attempting to listen to the audiobook during work today 🤞🏻 I retain enough that I don't need to reread the ebook...

The Last Page of Us is so freaking sweet and I want to read a whole book of Oliver and Beck 🥰
