I’m not sure if I’ll finish this one. The author seems so selfish and judgmental. She’s literally interviewing a bunch of women to be her best friend. The second she doesn’t like something they say or do she writes them off. And I mean like as in she has no interest in it. I wouldn’t want a friend like that.

I can actually feel myself getting stupid while I read this. I enjoy books that are guilty pleasures and I thought this would be one of those. Not so. I hate not finishing a book so I'll push through like a trooper. Hopefully it won't kick me back to the first grade. Fingers crossed.

When I started this book it seemed like a fun read like something Sophie Kinsella would write. Halfway through it I realized there's more to it. The main character has evolved from clueless and flighty to a real human being and you can't help but empathize with her. 'Elegance' is turning out better then I expected.
