I'm really loving this book. Very insightful.

Days are starting to feel surreal even though I'm back at work (not that I want to be, but I've no choice), but I have a big stack of books and a huge stash of tea so somehow I'll make it through.

It can be said buying books is separate hobby from reading them. Glad I had the habit and I've some for right now

Really glad I've a terrible habit of buying books and then not reading them. Hoping my stash lasts long for the stay home orders!

You would think with as fast as I actually can read I'd be able to meet my challenges every year with no problem. Or read more. -_- (Yay for quarantine to help me meet my challenge! I'm officially two books ahead)

I have to remember to update my goodreads more often

Me, reading four books at once? More likely than you think! I actually usually end up reading multiple books at once and I was going to try finishing up this round before starting any others, but...then I got the newest in a series from Joann Ross and I found poetry and well...

Removed Fine Things by Danielle Steel on my Currently Reading because I just couldn't get into it. I tried, I tried to keep reading it, and it just didn't click with me. Admittedly I've quit within the first 100 pages and the book is about 400 in total, but those first pages were just the set up/background. No thank you.

It is very interesting to me that none of the people on my updates column are reading the same genre of books save for two of them.
And I'm not recently reading those genres either.
What even is going on?
(Also, yes, I've got a lot of romance recently on my shelves. Yes. I know. But let me tell you a thing -- I only have a few hours for reading and romance is super easy for me to read.)

I don't remember when I last read books as much as I have this year. Shout out to a new job that has helped me balance everything so much better and therefore given me more reading time.

Woohoo, weekend reads!

I'm sure most of you have seen that I get the Dreamspinner Press book sub -- but I'm thinking of moving to a more diverse one. Does anyone have any reccomendations?

Catching up today on some really short stories from the last few years that have been sitting on my computer (and they don't count as part of the challenge? Huh. I don't mind, but huh.)
