William Lu is on page 249 of 433 of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
Abraham has become a husband and a father of two boys and has retired from vampire hunting. But, Abraham's younger son Eddy dies before he was able to turn 4. Although I have not finished this book yet, I am enjoying it thoroughly because of the many unexpected twists. The twists then led me to my curiosity, which urged me to read on.

"Judge us not equally, Abraham. We may all deserve hell, but some of us deserve sooner than others" (PAGE 106)

While I was reading this book, I noticed that I am not like Abraham Lincoln. Abraham is a very thoughtful man. He takes his time and plans out every step of his journey and spends more than 4 years of training in order to get his revenge on the vampires that took his mother's life. In this exciting and breathtaking story, he risks his life in order to raise America into a prosperous nation.

Abraham Lincoln, the young boy full of anger, was too small to help his mother when she had died. It was a regret that he had always had deep down in his heart. But, once he finds out what had killed his mother, he swore to kill every single vampire in America. From page 80-100, I learnt that no matter what decision you make, you need to be willing to take the consequences that is to come.

The character Rain in the book training camp has an obvious character trait of perseverance. In the book, despite all of the conflict that Rain faces at home, he continues to train hard and put all of his heart into playing basketball. Although Rain is the leader and the best player on the team, he needs to learn how to guide the team and encourage them before being able to lead them to a successful year.

The main character Salva from the story "A Long Walk to Water" reminds me of my friend. Tyler. Salva is like Tyler because whenever they are in a tough situation, they do what they believe is right. For example, when Tyler and I protected our sisters from older bullies, we knew it would be hard since they were physically bigger and stronger, but we continued to stand up for what we thought was right. Just like Salva.

Nana reminds me of Dumbledore in Harry Potter because both characters are intelligent and kind. While Dumbledore is the principal of Hogwarts, Nana is a former teacher. The two characters share many traits. One of which is kindness. For example, Dumbledore demonstrates consideration when he treats everyone as equals despite social status. Nana shows kindness by often putting the needs of others before her own.

Malcolm from the story reminds me of myself because whenever people make fun of our families, we start to get irritated and annoyed. For example, when one of Malcolm's classmates had made fun of his brother, Malcolm turned his hands into a fist and prepared for a fight. This scene from the book had reminded me of myself 2 years ago when I wrestled one of my old classmates to the ground after he made fun of my sister.

In the book that I am reading, Nate reminds me of my best friend. They are like each because they like doing things that can potentially get them in huge trouble. For example, when he got into a disagreement at a trampoline playhouse with a boy, He went ahead and whacked the boy with a basketball and ran. This was very similar to a thing that Nate would do since he always gets into fights at school.

The main character Jimmy Kudo may not be a lot like me, but he reminds me of my neighbour next door. My neighbour is just like Jimmy, he is very curious and brave. He also is a lot like Jimmy because when it comes to solving mysteries, he is always the first to solve the problem. For example, when someone stole from my other neighbour's car, he immediately helped call 911 and investigated the scene with the cops.

I can connect to the character Charlie Brown at this point of the book because he is extremely clumsy and is always making mistakes. I'm also like this. For example, When Chalie Brown was playing Marco Polo with a blindfold on, he ended up smashing into a gigantic tree. I laughed so hard at this scene that I almost peed my pants because related to this a lot. This is only one of the many reasons why I am like him.
