To think doctors would dissect dead bodies and then put those same hands in women while they were in labor and NEVER think it was a good idea to wash their hands beforehand because the smell of decay on their hands was something to brag about 🤢

the fact that i’m pretty sure we are months into this adventure and we are only getting passed page 200 is crazy to me 😭 this book really makes me feel like I’m aging.

Could you imagine climbing Mt. Everest and coming across all those that passed away while making the same trek? I never realized how dangerous it actually is to bring back bodies of those that died and the only option is to leave them there :(
