BRIAN A is 6% done with The Oxford Companion to Philosophy
This is really a reference work. From time to time I pull it out and read an article or two. Most likely I will never finish it as I am approaching my 72nd birthday.

BRIAN A is on page 304 of 685 of Capital in the Twenty First Century
Technical economics, but a lot more accessible and entertaining than anticipated. I keep wondering does inequality actually cause slow growth. This question has not been addressed in the text thus far.

BRIAN A is on page 240 of 460 of This Time Is Different: Eight Centuries of Financial Folly
The book is a technical economic analysis of financial bubbles and their effects. It is not an anecdotal compendium of human stupidity.

I jump around. Starting with the two local teams then others in the division before moving on to the other teams, I have read about 20% and lost steam with the season being suspended. Most likely the labor clash that was headed this way will be accelerated into this season. The owners keep forgetting that the players are the means of producing their wealth and continue trying to strangle the golden goose.
