Actually getting annoyed with this book. I don’t need to hear multiple times about how she’s thinking sexual things at the wrong time and questioning what’s wrong with her. I feel like I’ve heard that 10 times already. This and other things that have been said have felt very repetitive and that we’re getting nowhere in the plot

I felt this book was too long and kept dragging. I love Asar and Mische but felt like as soon as they’d solve one problem another would arise, they were fighting someone, Mische’s sister was coming back to get her, a god was mad and found them, etc. Gideon coming back was wildddd though

Oh…my…god!!!! The guy that is in her apartment 7 years in her past is the head chef at the restaurant that Clementine went to in her current time. That’s why he said Lemon when he saw her and she didn’t understand because he hadn’t been in her aunt’s apartment yet so they hadn’t met and she thought he was talking about the dessert he was bringing out to them. 🍋🥧🥰 I love this 🪄🏡

I love Asar/Mische 🖤 & Luce. The ending gutted me. Somehow they are going to make it back together in the next book which I can’t wait to start. Mische finding out that she was the one to kill her sister after she Turned was 😳 And then hearing about her being Chosen by Atroxus and everything she endured over the years like the scars was horrible. I’m glad she stood up to Atroxus 🏹🔥

I was confused how this series was 9 books but now I get it! The Nightrender is about to get his own story and I’m so excited

Kind of annoyed that Elise and Valen keep putting themselves in harm’s way at every turn. It makes this book drag a bit. But they got married 💍 Yay!

But alsoooo Valen’s whole family is alive! And so is Tor and Havar’s fathers!! Really wondering how this series is 9 books though…

I had a feeling Sol was alive. Glad Tor still has his man and that Valen finally stepped up to be the king for now

This was a very eye opening book and taught me a side of the Holocaust that I did not know about. I feel sick thinking about the things these women endured to survive and the losses that they went through in such a scary time 💔 May these women never be forgotten 🧵🪡

I liked the connection back to her older brother.
However, I could not get into this book. I feel like there was a lot of banter and a rushed ending to get the answers I had been waiting the entire book to find out about all for it to be answered in a couple chapters right at the end.

I have loved this book so far. Didn’t understand the multiple POVs at first but now I do. Also Marcellus 🐙 is so funny. I actually laughed out loud a few times. Tova and Cam being related and Marcellus bringing them together before he passes would be amazing. Cuz then Tova has someone and a connection to her son 🥹🥹

This was a very eye-opening book for me. I love that Uche talked about personal experiences within her own career, schooling, childhood, her family’s experiences, etc.

I honestly just feel bad for black people and all the shit they go through on a daily basis because of the stereotypes and assumptions made. They are more likely to not receive care or die from something preventable than a white person. Being pregnant, they are 5x more likely to die in childbirth!! That is just sick. And we continue to defend ourselves like we’re not treating black people differently…yeah ok

I knew Legion and his crew were Fae. I just fucking knew it. And of course her blood is crucial to them breaking their curse. And then him glamouring the 2 girls at the end so they can’t reveal who he is and that he’s returned is just fucking wild. Kinda like that they didn’t go all the way in this book spice wise with how many more books there are 🌶️
