In the section that I read today it talked about how his father figure got put in jail and how it effected Lebron. But also eddie was really unhappy with himself because it wouldn't allow him to see lebron get drafted.

I like this book because it shows two things about lebron one about how he grew up and what had happened during his life so far for example it said that he got a hummer for his 18th birthday and he almost got suspended because ghey thought it was from a sponsered company but it wasn't.

Lebron james in his senior year wanted to give back to the kids that lived in the city he did so he bought a lot of school supplies and gave it to them. Also, I learned that if lebron says that he is going to do something he will do it for example a coaches son wanted a autograph and lebron couldn't give it to him because lebron broke his wrist and told him that he would give him and 5 months later he did.

Lebron was so popular that everyone wanted his autogragh and the coach told his parents not to get mad about how many poeple wanted his auto graph. Also, in lebrons senior year basically all of his games were out of state so that he could face tougher opponets.

Lebron james was doing so good in basketball he was called by sports ellistrated It also says "If i were a general manager, there are only four or five NBA players that I woulfn't trade to get him right now"

I like this book because you are learning about lebron and how you can be successful without really having anything growing up. Also, lebron was a five star recruit and went to a basketball camp.

I can relate to this book after the chapters that I read It talks about how Lebron step-dad is always at his games because he wants to be supportive. I relate to this because my step-dad almost always comes to my games and supports me.

I was suprised because lebron didn't go to college so he just went straight to the NBA. He did this because of how good he was at basketball. (66)

Also, in this happening the book says that "It would have a great impact on both of thier futures." The person that he met his name was Keith Dambrot, his journey has taken himfrom within sight of coaching greatness, then plunged him into exile from basketball. (56)

I am liking this book so far. Because of how much I am actually learning about how one of basically best basketball players grew up. But not just growing up normally he had to move multiple times when he was a child and he also grew up without a father figure. Also, they finally found a permanent home for 7 years. Even with all of this happening he is becoming a really good basketball player.

I really like this book because it shows how Lebron James goes from not really having anything and being a bad kid until he meets sports. This helps him because it keeps him more focussed and keeps him out of trouble.
