Thoroughly enjoyed the retelling and will be searching out more classical myth retellings.

Only got to the description of a cat fight. The trigger warning is real. I thought it was a joke.

Before that, it was okay in a weird way. But she's, after that I just could not go further.

Very thoughtful and enjoyed the multiple points of view. Heartwarming.

It was okay. The last few chapters were not flushed out so well and instead other things were pulled in that would have been better in summary chapters not chapters focused on the women.

Really enjoying this so far. Much read for American History buffs.

This is not very interesting yet. She's introduced a huge cast of characters with breezy backgrounds. So far there has been way too much time spent on how to set up the White Dinner. It reads like an Emily Post book; for that matter it reads like an EP edition 1, 2, 3, and 4 as the dinner details are repeated ad nausea. I've never not finished a DS book as she is my all time reading indulgence. But...

I seriously considered calling in personal day today to finish this. My God, it is GOOD.

Decided to make myself stop reading last night at midnight so I could draw the book out a little longer. Think this is going to be one DS's best in a long time. It's just THAT GOOD so far. Really loving it!

Absolutely loving this book.

Reading for Sunday school and am really enjoying so far. In some spots, it's like I'm reading my own journal. Disappointed to put it on hold for a few weeks due to a change in SS lessons over the summer.

Started off pretty gruesomely, making it hard for me to keep going...

I'm beginning to understand why Sully Erna wrote "Cryin' Like a Bitch". I'm guessing it's sincere but the book is coming off as extremely self-indulgent and know it all. Still love Motley Crue though! ;) Nikki Sixx has earned the right to be self-indulgent if he wants. I
