Ok not to over share to my (extremely numerous) goodreads followers, but this book is actually hitting quite close to home? I’m currently receiving electroconvulsive therapy for depression, and it has caused me to lose many of my short term memories. So I do relate, to a small extent, to someone who lives solely in the present. Again, not to the same level, but still. I feel it.

People told me this is “not that good,” but I will read anything Patricia Lockwood writes, so I bet I will still like it. Also it was a signed copy so how could I say no!

Re reading this one to recover from the election… I really recommend reading this one if you want to imagine a world where communities care for each other and the environment!
