christ this is bleak

this book is massive

my first audiobook!

doing my best to be patient but i think i must be cursed because this is written exactly like the book i half wrote when i was 15

i’m giving up

the book is set in the 1950s, but the characters speak as if it’s the 1850s, except from when they speak like it’s the 2020s. i’d be enjoying this a whole lot more if the writing were any more polished. the house is damp, the house is dark, the house is ugly. that’s what the entire story has been so far.

i bought this in oxford a year and a half ago and the tiny font is still scaring me

the quest in this book was to go to tartarus. they are still not in tartarus. this has been 280 pages of side quests.
