As usual T. Kingfisher continues to be one of my favorite authors. Every time I start a book of theirs it’s like I’m instantly grabbed into it. Their protags are always interesting, funny, and relatable. Genuinely enjoying this book as expected!

Book is good just needed a fantasy break. Says something that even after months of not reading this and over half way done I can still remember key points of the book.

This book may be better physically than audiobook. I think they were aiming for something like the White Vault audio drama but falling short at the moment. The VO for the audiobook made some questionable choices on how to voice certain characters and many of them I feel fall into questionably offensive. Perspectives shift too much too, nothing grabbed me yet
