I can know see how stubborn Mickey is and how Wahoo has probably saved his dad from many occasions.

I can see what type of character Micheal is because e cares a lot for his animals and he is making it hard for Derek because he really cares his animals.

In this new book I can already think that Derek is going to be dong illegal things just like in the other books by Carl Hiaasen.

I feel like Roy is becoming more of a willing person and is going to make friends with Beatrice even though she's kind of mean. Also hes standing up to Dana pretty well because of how he beat Dana.

I am really intrigued by how Roy is acting being the new kid he is jumping right into this mystery and he's doing everything to do it.

At the end of the book is when Nick expresses his true bravery because he first climbs an old tree which can brake and he also went face to face with a real life panther. He also jumped of of the tree which was super tall and he just jumped with a broken arm and that surprised me because I expected him to fall and start crying but instead he chose to hurt himself really bad and save the baby panthers life.

I now see how tough the Waters family is to endure how his father left the hospital without having cured his infection. Now Nicks dad has to go back to the hospital anyways and his infection has just gotten worse. I also feel bad for Twilly about how one of the baby panthers died with him trying so hard for both kittens to live.

I am really surprised how Mrs. Starch is helping in the wildlife. She is also working with Duane which is really surprising counting that he was number one on her trouble list. Also I can now see how Mrs. Starch actually has a good side.

I am surprised by how sad I feel for Duane because e didn't do anything and he's getting framed by a gasoline company that is doing so may illegal things, and they pin it on a kid that did nothing and is trying to be a better person.

I am very suspicious about how Duane Scrod Jr is acting because I know he didn't make the fire but yet it seems that he has an important role in Mrs. Starch's disappearance.

Now when Nick finally hears from his dad it turns out that his dad lost his right arm, and Nick cast his arm to feel like his dad, which shows how much willpower Nick really has.

I think that since you get the perspective of a lot of characters in Scat you can understand how they are all super confused and the characters don understand what´s happening.
