Man, this book doesn’t pull any gut punches. This second story/chapter had all the feels.

Just when I was starting to lose interest, things suddenly are picking up again! Hurrah for conflict!

I was not expecting this midpoint shift, and I’m not sure how I feel about it yet 🧐

First story “We Are Celia” by Rachel Delaney Craft is a darkly humorous and strange tale of a woman trying to cope with her recent divorce. Great pacing and the writing felt self-assured and breezy. Loved the mid-point twist and the ending!

The story is unfolding in layers and waves and I’m hooked! Loving it so far. Interesting concept and empathetic characters.

I want to love this so badly, but so far it's another example of how comic anthologies just don't work.

Though not straight horror, this book is making me very uncomfortable!
