The perfect Murakami book. Feels like a combination of his best works succinctly put into one, showing just how much he has mastered his skill in his later years. I love the way he can find beauty and value in both the objective and subjective/ the real and unreal. Especially loved the Beatles reference as a call back to Kafka, which had many similar narrative focuses and discussions of love and reality.
