tired of reading about insufferable characters, can’t enjoy a bloody book these days can i

this is hard as fuck to read dear GOD

on page nine i wrote ‘i’m not sure i’ll enjoy this book’. on page 38 i am appalled by this book and would like to stop and erase the little i’ve read, especially the last two sentences, from memory

growing lowkey tired of thissss ✌️🙂‍↕️✌️ can’t wait to finally finiiiishhhhh it’s been the same retelling of the same shit for the past thirty pages at leee-eeaasttt and it’s dragging oooo-oonnnnn, soooo muuu-uuuch

i really like the fact that, despite her young age, the protagonist is not at all stupid and doesn’t fall into the usual mindset traps that all the other girls her age fall into

this guy is so damn blatantly stupid, it’s insulting to ~my intelligence as a reader

bit of a weird concept, bit simply written, the author/narrator already told me where it is going :/

so i got butter by asako yuzuki to read on holiday, but i just found out that even though it’s listed amongst the heritage reader challenge books, i literally have to finish it tomorrow in order to get it :l
